The third and final Local Dialogue Forum in Stoke-on-Trent took place on 3 March 2016. The purpose of the event was to engage partners and stakeholders in discussion and to gather their feedback on the draft Stoke-on-Trent´s Energy Efficiency Action Plan.
Stakeholders engaged enthusiastically in their review of the city´s Energy Efficiency Action Plan. In workshop sessions they reviewed all the proposed actions and provided additional feedback and observations on more than 90% of these. Without exception, their feedback was positive and provided targeted strong endorsement for more than a third of the actions.
The full event was attended by Councillor Terence Fellows, Cabinet Member for Greener City Development. At the event Councillor Follows signed the PLEEC Declaration – A Statement by City Project Partners as both an endorsement of the work done to date and Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s future commitment to the European Union´s 20-20-20 goals, making European cities smart and sustainable places to live in.
